Shipping & Delivery
Extreme Body Jewellery is a UK business currently dispatching all orders from
our Bangkok, Thailand shipping office. We use registered
airmail sent via Singapore with delivery by your national post office, in the UK
Royal Mail.
Delivery times
UK / Europe / Australia / NZ / Asia 7-14 days (occasionally up to 28 days)
USA / Canada / rest of the world 10-21 days (occasionally up to 28 days)
We dispatch all orders within 2 working
days (usually within 24 hours) & will contact you should we be unable
to do this for any reason. We regret that we cannot influence the speed of
delivery by the post office.
By completing an order with us you agree that this expected delivery time is
acceptable & that any delivery delays are the responsibility of the delivery company,
the Post Office. Should delivery of your order be delayed we are happy
to assist with enquiries to the post office after 28 days from the
shipping date when they allow us to open enquiries.
Upcoming Local Holidays
Our shipping office in Bangkok, Thailand will be unable to ship orders due to
local holidays on the following dates:-
Wed 1st May - National Holiday
Mon 6th May - National Holiday
Fri 24th May - National Holiday
Delivery Charges We charge £1.95 for delivery to the UK, £2.50 to Europe, USA & worldwide. Where larger items may incur higher shipping costs you will be
informed of the rate at checkout. Standard UK orders over
£30 will receive free shipping.
Prices All prices are listed & charged in UK pounds sterling.
Prices will show an estimated conversion to Euro's, US
Dollars & Australian Dollars. This is intended as a guide only & the actual
currency conversion rate charged by your credit card company
or Paypal may vary.
Payments Payments are handled by your choice of Paypal or
WorldPay. You can use most major credit & debit cards or your Paypal account to make a
purchase. Our shopping cart will transfer you by a secure connection to make
payment directly with Paypal or WorldPay to ensure a safe & secure transaction.
Your credit card details are never shared with us. Please note : With Paypal &
Worldpay you "send" us the payment during the checkout process. This means that
your card or account will be charged at the time of checkout.
Orders
We reserve the right not to accept or cancel an order from any customer for any reason.
We will of course contact you with the details you have provided & arrange any
refund of payment that has been made where we will not or cannot supply an
order for any reason.
Where our system accepts an order for a product that is out of stock we will
contact you to advise on expected delivery time or to arrange a refund.
In some cases we may require extra verification of identity to accompany credit
card purchases for security reasons. In the event that this is necessary we will
contact you to request whatever extra information is required.
Packaging
Our orders are sent in brown postpacks which include a customs declaration with
values listed in Singapore dollars. The sender is listed as EBJ.
Cancellation
An order can be cancelled at any point before the goods have been dispatched.
After dispatch we cannot recall or cancel the shipment so you will then need to
follow our returns policy (below). You should receive an
email to the email address that you provided once your order has been shipped.
The email is sent several hours after the order has been dispatched as we
have to wait to receive the package numbers to include in the update
email. You can also check your order status here.
You will need the email address used to make your order & your 5 digit order
number to log in. This is subject to the same update delays as the email update.
Returns &
Exchanges
Your satisfaction is very important to us! If you are unhappy with the Jewellery that
you receive from us for any reason, please contact us by email to let us know
the problem & request a return number. Please do not break the sealed plastic
packaging if you want to exchange or refund your Jewellery.
Due to the potentially infectious nature of used Body Jewellery we can only accept the return of new & unused Jewellery which has not been
inserted into a piercing or the skin in any way. The only way that we can be
sure of this is if the jewellery remains sealed in the original clear plastic packaging.
The Jewellery must be returned to us in new, unused
condition for an exchange or refund. The only
exceptions to this are where there is a manufacturing fault or other error on
our part. For authorized returns we will provide you with a return number & UK return address
(also listed below).
You must contact us within 7 days of the day following delivery & return goods to us within
21 days
of receiving a return number for a refund or exchange to be made. Please do not send
Jewellery back to us without first contacting us & receiving a return number.
We will only accept returns that have been authorised & that arrive with a valid
return number. Any requests for exchange or refund after 7 days
following the day of delivery will be declined.
When we authorise a return we will refund
the Jewellery cost only & not shipping charges, unless due to a
manufacturing fault or other fault or error on our
part (where we would refund all postage costs). You would be responsible for all return & replacement shipping costs.
Larger orders that have been sent with "Free Shipping" will have a shipping
charge deducted from any refund of payment should this result in the final order
being below the free shipping threshold.
When returning goods to us the safe transit of the goods is your
responsibility. We take no responsibility for returns that do not arrive or are
"lost" in the post. This is a matter between you & the postal service used
& any compensation must then be sought from the postal service used. For
valuable items or to avoid the possibility of lost packages we suggest using recorded delivery or registered mail.
Damage to goods in the post
In the unlikely event that goods from your order have been damaged in the post
please contact us within 7 days of the day following delivery. We will require either photographic
evidence or the return of the damaged goods to our UK address, at our
discretion. Once you have shown us the damage by photograph or by returning the
goods to us we will arrange the shipment of a replacement & a refund of the
return shipping cost (or include extra goods of a higher value than your
shipping costs should you choose this option)
Late Delivery / Non Delivery In the unlikely event that your order has not been delivered within
14 days from the date of shipping please first check the online tracking here:-
Track your order. You will need the
tracking number which was sent in the "order status update email" or you can
find it online here:- find your tracking number.
Most reported "lost" packages are usually packages that have had an attempted
delivery & are then held by your local post office. If
your local post office do not have the package within 28 days from shipping please let us know & we will
assist with enquiries & find a solution. We can start a Postal investigation
after 28 business days from the date of dispatch.
Please ensure that you contact us about any non delivery issues within 12
weeks from the order date. We cannot investigate order deliveries after this
time.
Resending Charge If the post office are unable to deliver your order (e.g. incorrect
address details provided /No-one home to sign for the package & package not
collected from local post office) your order will eventually be returned to
either our UK or Thai office at the discretion of the post office. We can resend your order to the
same or a new address of your choice for our standard postage charge to your
location. Please note that the speed of the package return is entirely down to
the post office.
Duty / Tax We are not responsible for any duty or tax demands made by your
country. Most national customs services do not tax small retail
orders but for more details please contact your national customs service.
Hygiene We guarantee that the Jewellery you receive from us will be in new & unused
condition. We cannot guarantee that the Jewellery is Sterile as we do not have a
sterile packing facility. We recommend that you thoroughly clean & sterilize all Jewellery before use.
Disclaimer
Although
we try to be as accurate as possible with the information we provide, we shall
not be liable for any losses or damages you may suffer arising out of your use
of the information or products on this Web site. Extreme Body Jewellery does not warrant the accuracy,
completeness, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of any of the
information shown on our Web site. In no circumstances
shall Extreme Body Jewellery be liable for any injury, loss, claim, damage, or
any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages of any kind, or any
damages whatsoever which arise from or is in any way connected with any

all there is to know about our Jewellery but we are not professional piercers and are not
